The Sniper, Parts 3a, 3b, 3c, etc.
I went from despising how this looked to loving everything about this in the space of three hours. Such is life with the artistic temperament. Anyway! Today's goal is to finish the lineart on The Sniper. I made a much cleaner reference sketch for this one, and it has helped a lot.
So far, the only tangents bothering me are a few concentrations of detail in the wrong places. That, and the laser beam's final path has yet to be determined. I may paint that fallen road sign over.

Helicopter in Gouache WIP
Having a lot of fun getting back into gouache. This is a KA-50 "Hokum", a Russian attack helicopter which uses counter-rotating rotors to balance its flight rather than a tail rotor.
Farewell, Cadillacs
I hit 3 out of 7 days for Cadillac week...definitely room for improvement there. Same with the drawing below, it was going haywire at the sketch stage. It's 12:20 AM. This is good enough.
What's next? Only time (and a good night's sleep) will tell...

Cadillac Week Continues
I kept up on my sketches this time, feeling good about that. This is the Cadillac Cyclone, a "concept car" designed by Harley Earl, made by General Motors in 1959. Besides coming closer to being a ground-bound rocketship than any other Cadillac ever, it had a crash avoidance radar system mounted in the two front cones.
| Okay, it's not a Cyclone, but it's still a Cadillac. Gotta love that grill. |

Child of Night
It took some doing, but it's done! The bat-eared skeleton is co-starring with a Death's Head Hawk Moth, an insect said to be a harbinger of doom. For the (un)dead, he's a little friend, a reminder more souls will be with them soon...
Also available in many forms on my Society6.
